Bus Eireann began operating a new shuttle bus service from Knock International Airport & Charlestown on the 30th March 2004. The connection at Charlestown provides a hub for many Bus Eireann connections in the area.
The shuttle bus, with its specially branded " Knock Airport Shuttle Bus " is a Leyland Lynx, recently acquired from Travel West Midlands UK.
